Research
Our research is structured around three main axes:
"Metal-catalyzed reactions", involving Pd, Cu, Rh, and Au catalysts, particularly in atom- and step-economical processes such as tandem, domino, cascade, multicomponent reactions, hydroformylation, and cycloadditions;
"Heterochemistry and heterocycles", dedicated to studying the reactivity of functions containing heteroatoms (e.g., thiocyanate, cyanamide, phosphorothioate, thiocarbonyl) and the synthesis of original oxygenated, nitrogenated, and sulfur-containing heterocycles;
"Natural molecules and analogs", focusing on the synthesis of alkaloids and plant-derived compounds (e.g., anthranoids, vismiones) and/or their analogs.
These axes are often interconnected, with our projects potentially encompassing one or more of these three areas.
